About Sorted Home Guide

Sorted Home Guide publishes buying guides for specific, practical problems around the home, such as running a dishwasher without a faucet hookup or keeping a basement dry without a floor drain.

Editor

Carl Carda is the editor of Sorted Home Guide and is responsible for what we publish. Guides are credited to the Sorted Home Guide editors.

How our guides are made

We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides. Each guide's claims are checked against our source notes, and our editor, Carl Carda, reviews and approves every guide before it's published. We haven't tested the products ourselves; our guides are based on published specs, test results and safety records.

Every guide is also reviewed for accuracy and disclosure before it's published. No brand pays for placement.

How we make money

We don't currently earn anything from the links on this site: they are ordinary links to stores and manufacturers. If that changes, the top of each affected page will say so. See our affiliate disclosure.
